Mom has taken a turn. She is now in the hospital resting comfortably. Her liver is causing a lot of problems. She is in and out of sleep and we are doing our best to keep her pain free and comfortable.
It is not good. We ask that you light a candle, say a prayer or do something that will send strength Mom's way. I think it will give her some peace to know everyone's thoughts are with her.

Tara and Bri-Anne, I have thought of little else than your mother since I last saw her on Saturday and I have been praying all evening since I learned of her going into hospital. I hope I get the chance to tell her how much I love her and how grateful I am that she came in to my life. Stay strong and know I am always here for all of you. Love Darlene.

Lord, I am hurting. Everywhere I turn, I find memories of Mom, who has died of cancer. I long to hear her voice again. I am lonely and at times find myself asking, how can I go on? Help me to find joy and meaning in my life again.
I know, Lord, that Mom is with You in eternal life and that we will someday be reunited. But, right now, I ask you to heal the hurt caused by her death. Jesus, come to me and dry my tears.
Take away my pain. Let my memories bring me sweetness and love, not just sorrow and tears. Give me smiles and laughter. Help me to participate in life again.
I believe, Jesus, That you will bring me hope. Help me to see You in friends and family members who are reaching out to me. Help me to hear Your voice in their words. Help me to say "Yes" to You. Amen
